How it began.
Janis Seabolt, Founder and CEO of Purposefully Engaged, saw a need to help businesses reach their community impact goals to benefit their employees, their brand, and their community. As an active volunteer, she has experienced the personal and organizational transformation that comes with volunteering. She believes that we become our best selves when we work together for the greater good. Janis decided to merge her professional and personal experience to help businesses connect with the power of doing good.
Janis, graduate of University of Michigan, is happily married to Scott Seabolt, an entrepreneur, attorney, and board member of the Detroit Police Athletic League. They have three great children who are active in sports and their own community service organizations. Janis is also a breast cancer survivor who ran her first half marathon on chemotherapy.
